Its two terminals, including the Lufthansa Terminal 2 satellite, handle long-haul connections from across the Americas, Asia and the Middle East. For ski travellers it is the most convenient gateway to the Tyrolean Alps — Innsbruck (1h45), St. Anton (2h30), Kitzbühel (1h45) and Salzburg (1h30) are within easy transfer distance. The Bavarian capital itself, with the Marienplatz, Englischer Garten and BMW Welt, is 40 minutes by car.
