Courchevel — the most exclusive resort of the Three Valleys

Courchevel — the most exclusive resort of the Three Valleys

Courchevel 1850 is the jewel of the world's largest ski domain — palace hotels, Michelin stars and a perfectly groomed sun-facing piste.

About this destination

Courchevel is built across four altitudes, with 1850 the highest and most legendary. Direct access to Les 3 Vallées — 600 km of linked pistes between Méribel, Val Thorens and Courchevel — makes it the largest ski area on earth. Eight palace and 5-star hotels, a dense Michelin-star map (including Le 1947 with three stars), an active altiport for private jets and a famously sun-bathed front-de-neige define the resort. Below 1850, the villages of Moriond (1650), Village (1550) and Le Praz (1300) offer more village character.

Best time to visit

Mid-December to mid-April — peak conditions late January to early March.

Why a private transfer

Most guests fly into Chambéry, Geneva or Lyon and need a winter-equipped Mercedes (S-Class or V-Class) for the 100–190 km transfer up snow-covered roads. We do this route every week.
