Pisa — the Leaning Tower and the Field of Miracles
The Torre Pendente, Duomo, Baptistery and Camposanto on the green Piazza dei Miracoli, plus a Tuscan riverfront old town — 2 km from Pisa Airport.
About this destination
Pisa's Piazza dei Miracoli is one of the most concentrated UNESCO ensembles in Italy: the white-marble Romanesque Duomo, the freestanding circular Baptistery with its astonishing acoustics, the monumental Camposanto cemetery, and the Leaning Tower itself — a 56-metre bell tower that began to tilt during construction in the 12th century and has been stabilised by a 1990s engineering campaign. Beyond the tourist axis, Pisa is a real university town: Piazza dei Cavalieri, the Borgo Stretto arcades and the Lungarni along the river make a full afternoon. The airport sits 2 km from the centre — Pisa is the natural gateway to Tuscany, Lucca and the Cinque Terre.
Best time to visit

Why a private transfer
