Baltic White Nights — Endless Summer Twilight

Baltic White Nights — Endless Summer Twilight

From mid-June to mid-July the sun barely sets over the Baltic — endless pastel twilights, midnight strolls and seaside terraces wide awake at 1 a.m.

About this destination

Tallinn sits at 59° N — at the summer solstice the sun dips below the horizon for less than four hours, leaving the sky a luminous pink-orange wash. Riga and Vilnius share the same magic. The old towns stay alive all night: rooftop bars on Town Hall Square, late-night concerts at Riga's Pavarots and outdoor cinemas in Vilnius's Bernardine Garden. Outside the cities, Jūrmala beach, Pärnu promenade and Lahemaa's coastal manors offer the most photogenic 'golden hour that never ends'. The phenomenon peaks between 15 June and 10 July.

Best time to visit

10 June – 15 July; solstice (21 June) is the brightest.

Why a private transfer

Late-night transfers between cities and seaside resorts are scarce after midnight. Our chauffeurs stay on call until 4 a.m. — fixed price, child seats, multilingual driver.
