Geneva sits at the southern tip of Lake Geneva, framed by the Jura mountains and Mont Blanc on the horizon. The 140-metre Jet d'Eau is its symbol; the Old Town crowns the hill around St Pierre Cathedral; the Quais and the Bains des Pâquis line the lakeshore. Above all, GVA airport is the main winter hub for transfers to Chamonix, Megève, Courchevel, Verbier and the Portes du Soleil.

June–September for the lake and outdoor terraces; December–April for the ski transfers.
