La Plagne — France's Most Skied Resort

La Plagne — France's Most Skied Resort

Eleven villages between 1250 and 2100 m, linked into the 425 km Paradiski domain by the Vanoise Express to Les Arcs.

About this destination

La Plagne attracts more skier-days than any other French resort. The domain stretches from forested traditional villages (Plagne 1800, Montchavin, Champagny-en-Vanoise) to high snow-sure stations (Belle Plagne, Plagne Centre, Aime 2000). Wide, sunny intermediate cruising is its trademark; the Bellecôte glacier extends the top to 3250 m. Home to France's only Olympic bobsleigh track, open to the public.

Best time to visit

December–April; high-altitude reliability above 1800 m.

Why a private transfer

Multiple village destinations and a serpentine road require a driver who knows the resort. Door-to-door from Geneva, Lyon or Chambéry — fixed price.
