Les Arcs — Paradiski's Architectural Icon

Charlotte Perriand's car-free mountain villages at 1600–2000 m, linked by the Vanoise Express cable car to La Plagne and the 425 km Paradiski domain.

About this destination

Les Arcs is famous for its low-rise Bauhaus-inspired ski villages designed by Charlotte Perriand — Arc 1600, 1800, 1950 and 2000, all car-free and built directly on the slopes. The 1.8 km Vanoise Express double-decker cable car connects Les Arcs to La Plagne, forming Paradiski (425 km of pistes). Arc 1950 is a modern alpine hamlet of stone and timber; Arc 1800 has the largest ski school in the Alps; Arc 2000 offers the highest skiing.

Best time to visit

December–April; snow-sure from Arc 1800 upwards.

Why a private transfer
